North Fulton Forward is a nonpartisan political organization made by and for the residents of North Fulton County. We work to elect our neighbors to office who will champion good governance practices: anti-corruption, transparency, forward-thinking economic growth, and protecting our unique natural resources.
We identify regionally because the cities of North Fulton face many of the same challenges, and our communities are closely connected. Local business owners are invested in the cities where they operate, even if they live elsewhere. Residents routinely cross city lines for work, recreation, and civic involvement. Our regional approach reflects this reality and helps us better address shared issues.
What we do.
Our membership includes former elected officials, candidates, business leaders, policy experts, and community organizers. Together, we create strategic resources and build networks to support the candidates NFF endorses.
While many local organizations focus on entry-level volunteer opportunities like canvassing or postcard writing, NFF operates behind the scenes to ensure these efforts are possible. We assist campaigns by helping candidates secure funding, develop clear and compelling messaging, and craft winning strategies. Our work strengthens the overall ecosystem of local political engagement.
Why we do it.
Candidates aligned with our values face recurring challenges:
A lack of institutional memory about what works on the campaign trail
Difficulty coordinating among community leaders and organizations
A steep learning curve on complex policy issues
Limited access to established donor networks, especially for candidates with professional backgrounds outside certain industries
NFF exists to tackle these barriers, not just in one election cycle, but over time. By building long-term infrastructure and support systems, we help ensure that principled, community-focused candidates can run competitive, well-resourced campaigns.
